Welcome
to the Polar Bares of Northern Illinois
|
The Illinois Snowmobile Education Course consists of a minimum eight hours of instruction. These courses cover the basics in maintenance and repair of snowmobiles, proper and safe operation, the history of snowmobiling, first aid, protection of the environment, and the state laws. As in other courses various visual aids are provided to enhance the quality of instructions. Students attending Illinois safety classes MUST be pre-registered in order to attend a class. Class sizes are limited and walk-ins are not accepted. Please call the phone number for the class you choose for details as to where, at what time and any fees (usually very minimal) for the class. If your child is pre-registered and cannot make the class, please notify the instructor prior to the class so children that may be on a wait list can attend. Student Social Security Numbers are now required for all call registrations. |
